Jabra Ghandour appointed new Managing Director of IBQ

National Bank of Kuwait (NBK), the highest-rated bank in the Middle East, announced the appointment of Jabra Ghandour as the new Managing Director of the International Bank of Qatar (IBQ) replacing George Nasra. Mr. Nasra will remain a member of IBQ’s board of directors.
Prior to joining IBQ as Managing Director, Mr. Ghandour held the post of General Manger of NBK in Jordan for seven years and earlier was Head of Private Banking at NBK Kuwait. Mr. Ghandour obtained his Master’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin in 1985.
Commenting on his appointment, Jabra Ghandour stated: “It is an honor for me to be appointed Managing Director of IBQ, one of the leading banks in Qatar.
