The series was first established in 2008  with the aim of bringing an exceptional class of musical performance to the Qatari capital – including both locally based musicians and major new talent from abroad. Each season incorporates a range of musical traditions including classical, opera, operetta and traditional folk music.

Await the new concerts for this year 2011 - 2012, "Peter and the wolf” a family concert by Serge Prokofieff at the American School of Doha Fine Arts Theatre.         

Friends of the American School of Doha (ASD) Chamber Music Series sponsored by ibq has now become a highly anticipated event in Qatar's culture calender with season concerts running from November until May each year. All the concerts are held at the ASD Fine Arts Theatre, one of the finest theaters in the country.
